Foundation Dentist Trainer
I qualified in 1996 from the University of Witwatersrand (South Africa) with degrees in both science and dentistry. Postgraduate qualifications that I hold include MJDF RCS (Eng) and a postgraduate course in Medical Education.
My postgraduate career has followed the restorative dentistry pathway with a keen interest in cosmetic and preventive dentistry and ‘The Smile Makeover.’ I refined my skills under the guidance of leading trainers in this area.
Additionally I am a Vocational Dental Trainer, a role which involves being a mentor to newly qualified dentists. Over the years I have built up a loyal patient base providing a service to patients under the NHS and privately.
I also have an interest in Facial Rejuvenation and provide treatment such as Fillers, redefining frown lines and Obagi Skin care regime.
Modern dentistry requires an innovative approach to delivering a quality service. The roles of dental teams have evolved and the range of services has diversified. As a partner in Castle Dental Care, my vision for the future is to ensure that our team leads the way in developing systems of care to consistently aim for clinical excellence.
